Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Fully accountable for fulfillment of RedMart perfect orders, achieving Quality of Service metrics

  • Synthesize information from within the team, outside the team, above the team,and the industry, to make medium to long term operational decisions

  • Accountable for Manpower Planning, Selection, Training and Productivity

  • Builds a culture of effective communication within the team. Creates and solidifies constructive communication channels within the team and also with stakeholders outside of own team.

  • Maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment for all entering and working in the warehouse

  • Efficiently execute of all product service programs in compliance with RedMart and regulatory guidelines

  • Mentor and develop over 300 warehouse team members and ensure a productive and high-performance work environment.

  • Establish and implement KPIs and supported with regular reviews ensure that these are met.

  • Ensure security of inventory and minimize losses.

  • Continuously refine our operation through efficiencies and process improvements to perform at peak capacity

  • Manage to operational goals and profitability

  • Be an ambassador for our company culture by creating a “WOW” experience for the team and customers

  • Work along with the Operations leadership team build a team and processes that allow agility within the business to grow in a seamless manner

Qualifications needed

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field

  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced, grocery service/ e-commerce environment

  • At least 8 years of related experience

  • Exceptional customer service

  • Strong at relationship building

  • Effective communication with all levels of employees

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to learn and utilize the company applications
